TTFC is a "Charter Standard" football club with both male and female teams and the simple aim of providing an environment which allows all members to be able to develop their enjoyment of football. A long established club that aims to offer a safe, and well managed facility for the development of the club’s youth players into senior football. Long-term goals are to ensure the overall development of the club’s facilities both on and off the playing area that enables all teams to be in a position to play football at the highest possible standard and level.
Situated in the historical market town of Thornbury in South Gloucestershire the exact formation date is uncertain, but it is known that football was being played in the town in 1896 and that there was a Thornbury Town Club in 1898. The youth section was originally formed in 1990 as a separate club (Thornbury Falcons). In 2010 the two clubs merged to form a new Thornbury Town FC. The youth section is a parent led organisation with the simple aim to provide an environment within which all boys and girls are able to play, enjoy and develop all aspects of football.
